What is Zhaga?

Zhaga is a consortium of LED manufacturers that develops standards for LED light engine products and promotes standardization of interfaces for LED light engine products. Its mission is to provide a better and more effective light source solution platform for luminaire manufacturers. ZHAGA defines a stable design platform for luminaire manufacturing enterprises through the standardization of light engine interfaces, avoiding the circulation of a large number of incompatible light engine products in the market, and enabling the market to have a second choice of light engine, thereby reducing the development cost of light source applications and promoting market growth through competition.

The Zhaga standard covers physical dimensions, optics, electrical, light distribution, heat dissipation, and other key aspects, ultimately enabling compatibility, interchangeability, and replacement among products from different manufacturers in the Zhaga Alliance.

On December 14th, a seminar on the theme of "Zhaga Smart Lighting Circular Design Method" hosted by Zhaga Alliance, Zhongshan Semiconductor Lighting Association, and Huayi Square was successfully concluded at Huayi College of Huayi Square in Zhongshan. Many experts from the industry shared their technical knowledge about circular lighting design, popularizing technological innovation and industry trends in LED lighting under the circular economy.

Ms. Tu Qiaoling, Secretary General of Zhongshan Semiconductor Lighting Association, and Ms. Yang Remaining, Deputy General Manager of HUAYI Plaza, delivered opening speeches for this event. Dr. Zhang Xin, Associate Professor of the School of Art of Suzhou University and Co-founder of ICOO DESIGN, HercuLux Vice General Manager, ZHAGA Alliance CTF China Task Force Vice Chairman Mr. Peng Wei, Zhongshan Semiconductor Lighting Industry Association & One Party Optoelectronic Technology Consultant Professor Liu Zhongqi, LIFUD Product Manager Mr. Chen Qian, Zhouming Technology Product Director Mr. Que Shoujin, DEKRA Guangzhou Lighting Senior Manager Mr. Tong Chibing, and DALI CFG Chairman, Zhaga CTF Chairman Dr. Huang Feng made wonderful sharing in turn.
