In the evolution of lighting technology, we have witnessed countless breakthroughs and innovations, and undoubtedly every innovation has brought brighter and more efficient light to everyone. However, while we are pursuing better light and better light, glare issues remain a persistent challenge. Whether in indoor or outdoor lighting design, this overly dazzling, uncomfortable, and thus causing dizziness and blurred vision problem has always been a pain point in lighting design.

To solve the glare problem, lighting designers and engineers have been working hard to develop new technologies and methods. Although there are some methods to reduce glare, such as adding grills or honeycomb patterns, these methods often fail to fundamentally solve the problem, and also lead to a decrease in light efficiency or increased complexity and system costs of the luminaire structure.

The emergence of the Firefly series guarantees minimal glare in the lighting fixture, and due to the grille-free design, it essentially indirectly simplifies the fixture structure. Future product design will surely be redefined.Why does our Firefly series achieve such precise light control? Realize such low glare? Design Inspiration: The extremely low glare performance of the Firefly series is due to our new design concept of "light cone correction technology". The design principle of light cone correction technology is simply understood as the light cone at the bottom first collects the light, and then projects the required angle through the lens above. Therefore, the lens surface is no longer a bright spot like traditional solutions, and the lens surface has very high brightness uniformity.

The design concept comes form imaging optics,which combines imaging optics with energy optics.

Design objective 1: Uniform irradiance on the exit surface.

Design objective 2: Expanding LEDs from point light sources to surface light sources.

Glare Performance: From the comparison of the three figures below, we can see that the surface illuminance uniformity of the Firefly series is undoubtedly the highest, and the grille-free design can also achieve super comfortable light. I believe that as more and more users understand this design concept, the grille-free design will surely lead the design trend in the future.

Product Specifications: After comprehensively considering the existing lamp structure of the customer, the specifications and sizes that will be developed next are two versions: with grill and without grill. In other words, the customer can choose to replace the existing version with our gridded version, or they can choose the version without grid to design a brand new product. The width is currently planned to be 15mm, 19mm, 25mm, and the size of the number of beads can be single, 2-in-1, 3-in-1, 5-in-1, 6-in-1, etc. The angle includes 20 degrees, 40 degrees, 60 degrees, and wall washing specifications. Moreover, in the future, we will develop different angles and sizes in targeted ways for different scenarios of linear lighting.

Product Design: Adopting our Firefly series, the appearance design of the lamps and lanterns is no longer restricted by grills. The lens does not need to be hidden, but is an optical device that can also be used as a part of the lamp's appearance, adding more content to the lamp. Designers can freely unleash their imagination to create more unique and diverse lamp designs.
